Love that you specifically mentioned the “O” sound - I think it’s the vowel we as English speakers sounds the most like our O, and can make a big difference in how fluent you sound if done correctly

English or Spanish?

I was told por is used for "because of" and para is used "in order to". Both translate to "for" but have different contexts. You can use por que and para que when you change the subject of the sentence

Yo soy boricua....cutting sounds and syllables is common...compare to Cubans and Dominicans...depends on where we grew up...but we know the difference between formal and street/rural lingo

i want to learn spanish and am dedicted. I go to a church with majoirty being hispanic and my nail technician only speak spanish. Plus do many customers come into my job who dont speak english. Im so dedicated especially since my sister was able to learn it

Horrible way to teach. I’m sorry but you are alllll over the place way to fast and not at alllll small steps like you said in the beginning. You need to use each phrase slower and explaining more one by one. Like whenever you were teaching how to say your name or what is your name or what do you call yourself? The two ells at the beginning of that word, apparently are silent and you didn’t even discuss that but you made sure to tell us that the H in Spanish is silent, I don’t think you’re a very good teacher. You should not be teaching people anything you are more confusing than helpful. I’m sorry to sound rude, but sometimes you need real criticism so that you can make yourself better. If everybody patch you on the back for doing a mediocre or a bad job you’re not really improving or doing better you’re going to stay the same and think that you’re doing a great job I apologize. I hope it doesn’t hurt your feelings, but just like you said you need to learn from your failures you need to learn from your failures. This is not a successful video. This is a failure.
